Each year, the Museum presents hundreds of school programs to our young visitors. Using the framework of our new culture, science, collections and early childhood exhibits, these programs build on classroom learning objectives to engage visiting school groups in activities, games, and conversations that deepen curriculum concepts and offer a foundation for individual research and classroom projects.

To that end, we are delighted to announce a continued partnership with Target! At the start of the 2011-2012 school year, 2nd-8th grade teachers from Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx Title I schools can submit applications online to receive free school visits to the Museum between October and June. These free school programs will take place during our regularly scheduled school program hours, blackout dates apply.  To see our selection of programs, please click here.
